Fuji Women's University Diploma Policy
(Policy on Degree Conferral)

In order to ensure the university’s founding philosophical principles and educational objectives are met, the following diploma policy has been established:

  1.  Students shall have a deep understanding of the Christian worldview and perspective on humanity and be able to act flexibly and sincerely with a spirit of love. (Christian Worldview and Understanding of Humanity)
  2. Students shall be able to communicate effectively with others while considering cultural diversity, and actively fulfill their roles as members of contemporary society. (Independence and Open Attitude Toward Learning with Diverse People)
  3. Students shall acquire and apply the knowledge and skills required in their respective fields of specialization within the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty Well-being in order to confront various issues in modern society. (Knowledge and Skills)
  4. Students shall be able to reinterpret the knowledge gained in class from their own viewpoint, relate it to contemporary issues, and think logically and critically with a broad and multifaceted perspective in order to communicate their ideas to society. Educational Philosophy

Fuji Women's University’s educational philosophy continues to reflect the vision of Bishop Wenseslaus Kinold, the first parish chief of the Catholic Diocese of Sapporo and founder of the Fuji School Corporation. Based on a Christian worldview and understanding of humanity, the university's mission is to foster intellectual and empathetic women who live lives of love and service to the broader human community.

Educational Objectives
